Ang Lee’s new film, an espionage thriller set in WWII-era Shanghai. Tony Leung stars as Mr. Yee, a powerful political figure in 1940s Shanghai. Tang Wei, makes her feature film debut as Wang Jiazhi, a young woman who gets swept up in a dangerous game of emotional intrigue with Mr. Yee.
2046 The Movie
A few dreamy sequences later the music starts playing and we get to see the first actual sex scene where Carina Lau (the Lulu android on 2046 train) is having it with a man carrying a barbed wire tattooed on his back. Chow Mo Wan (Tony Leung) is looking at the whole thing through the cracks in the floor. He sheds a tear and the scene ends violently, presumably with the man killing the android.
Second one is just a hint of sex scene as we can only see the bed shaking and pounding against the walls. It's kinda fun so I included it anyway. And you get to see a nice shot of Ziyi Zhang's feet.
While we're at feet. If you per chance have a foot fetish there's quite a bit of it in the next intimate scene at 0.48. Bai Ling (Ziyi Zhang) puts her foot on Chow Mo Wan's chest, gently pokes him in the chin and then runs it across his face. There's also quite a bit of shoe scenes throughout the movie. Most notably one, where there's a minute and a half of sheer shoes. It's a treat for all you shoe fetishists out there.
Four minutes later we get to see some real action. Actual sex between Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Ziyi Zhang. Top down view of them having sex on a bed while the camera is slowly rotating, again with some beautiful music. Music subsides and we can hear Bai Ling's moans, then suddenly it's all interrupted by the next scene. This scene was edited from the Chinese version.
And finally, another sex with an android, this time it's Tak, the passenger on 2046 train and the android played by Faye Wong. Again beautifully shot and sensual, but still no nudity.
